I purchased this build to display in my classroom. I think it's an excellent, but subtle, way of showing support for a diverse classroom of students. That sort of visibility goes a long way for young people try to find their place in this world.

This was a gift for my son from his aunt and uncle for his 11th birthday. He is on the autism spectrum and loves colors- He uses them to talk about all kinds of things like the emotions he sees each color representing. I have been trying to get him to build Lego with me for years and this is the first time he actually asked me to build a set together. We had so much fun building this together and he talked all about the colors and his life the whole time. My younger son even jumped in to help and the two of them ended up playing with the minifigures a version of among us. Not only have my kids had so much fun playing together with these, it looks lovely as a display when they’re not playing 😊

Inclusive Fun

This set, while easy to build, is truly fun once it’s put together. Displaying it at your office will make everyone smile like it has my place of employment as it’s a great way of saying “I am an ally” to all people. Plus you just let the Lego do the talking and people know you care! A great set for everyone to enjoy!

My nephew always asks me for a Lego set for any holiday or birthday. Because I’m his auntie and only see him on those occasions I go all out and get the big expensive sets! This year he surprised me and said he only wanted “Everyone is Awesome”. His next statement shocked me as he said, “it’s okay Autie, this promotes social change! Don’t you like it now??” I work in mental health and it would seem some little ears had heard statement I had made from my work! I was amazed. I gave him the set I had ordered for myself and quickly ordered another set for me. Little ears heard that as well and he insisted we wait and build it over FaceTime. We did. As we talked about what each color stands for, he shared information about his classmates, teachers, people he knew in the community and even people on TV who were LGBTQIA+. My nephew is Autistic, so getting him to focus on one task for two hours was amazing. Of course he could build faster than I could, but every time I looked at his smiling face I just wanted to take a little longer to finish. The experience of building this build with my nephew was amazing and I would do it again and again. He was already so supportive of others, it took your set to help him find that voice. Thank you. For the encouragement for people to be who they are and for families to come together and build. And if anyone is asking if it’s worth it, buy it, do it with someone you love. That’s always worth it!

Wonderful display Piece - Good for discussion

I am all about balance and inclusion. I feel this set, for what is covers is a perfect 1st step. Sure there are opportunities for more but the L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+ dynamic is essential and this is what this is all about. I purchased 2 sets simply cause I wanted to create a new dynamic that was even more inclusive. I mixed all the people together to cover all aspects that we are all part of the soup of the earth and each person is awesome but also can be mixed up and still be awesome. I hope for more opportunities to see Lego offering the wonderful complexities and varieties of happy humans in their designs. Lego is full of complexity and variety us humans are too. Great set to start the process.
