Almost perfect

I really liked this set and wanted it for my desk to match the color order of my books. Only thing I didn't like is that fact that you have to stick to the color order it comes with and doesn't let you choose your own order. I am going to try to order the missing pieces I need to make it the way I want but kinda disappointed it didn't come with the chance to do so already.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The set comes with instructions to assemble the pieces in a certain order. Of course you are more than welcome to apply your creativity and imagination to give it your very own design.

I was nervous it was going to be too easy...

I wanted this set when it was announced and I still hemmed and hawed before finally buying it in a store a few weeks ago because I was nervous it was going to be tooooo simple and not a satisfying build. This was not a complicated build, but they really did a great job upping the complexity enough that it didn't seem like a duplo set. I'm super happy I have it now, I can't wait to decide where to display it. I also REALLY like another reviewer's idea to buy two sets and mix up everything in the 2nd set. I might do that in the future.

Great Display Set for LGBTQ FOLs

The build may be simple, but as a display piece, it doesn’t need to be anything more than that. This set is the perfect way to show your support for the LGBTQ community while simultaneously being a giant LEGO nerd! My two favorite things! Major props to the designer of this set, and to The LEGO Group for giving him the voice to show LEGO fans of all ages that Love is Love.
