I'm 71 have never built much with Legos before. But I saw this set and just fell in love with it. I'm a gardener, nature lover, and bird watcher so this is right up my alley. Also I live near Pittsburgh and one of my favorite places to visit is Phipps Conservatory, with it's construction that is similar to this set. I especially loved all the little surprises you find while building this set. Don't be intimidated by the size or piece count if you're not experienced with Legos. The directions are quite clear and easy to follow.

Beautiful Set and Fun Build, with One Exception

This is a gorgeous set, hands down. And I enjoyed building it. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of information/interesting facts that are usually found throughout the instructions in other sets I've built. There's one page near the beginning that lists the plants that were included, but it is just the plant name, no information about where it is from. When I saw that, I thought "surely I'll get more detail when I'm building it", but that never happened. The little learning opportunities scattered throughout the instruction books have always been some of my favorite aspects of the build process, so I really missed having that here... But, like I said, it is quite beautiful and I enjoy looking at the finished set on my shelf!

Honestly one of the best sets I have ever built, still working on it but so far amazing and love the details with minimal stickers and adding a light kit bc the clear roof will definitely amplify that but def get if your on the fence no question
