[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The drill is great, it's powerful and compact. I've been able to condense down my drills to really just this one and use it for all of my needs. I haven't done any heavy duty drilling (Into large posts) but the drilling I have done has been easy. Love the light on the front since my previous drill did not have one. The charger is a bit noisy while the battery is charging. I would recommend this drill to any and everyone. I love it.

Great for tough jobs!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Skil PWR Core 20 drill is a must have for tough jobs. I know at times I have a hard time drilling nails into my fence, this drill helps out a lot. It goes faster, drills harder than any drill I’ve ever used. It comes with a portable charger to charge the battery. It cuts tough jobs out quickly, absolutely love it!! Definitely recommend it. If you need a new drill, give this one a try!!

I attained this to have in my camper so if a situation arises I have a dependable drill for doing repairs! It charges very fast so even if you do not have an extra battery your back to your project in a short time You can even use the batterys USB to charge you cell phone and other devices. Other features are the hammer ability to drill thru concrete, bricks, or hard wood using
this feature. 17 stage torque adjustments and variable speed trigger. It also has a light that is very bright to help iwhen working in a dark lite area. The only thing this kit is missing is a case or bag to keep this kit in.

I aquired the Skill power Core 20 V 1/2 cordless hammer drill to keep in my camper for any emergancies that my come up while camping. Have not really had any jobs to do with it yet but my Dad used corded Skill saws and drill tools as a carpenter for his livelyhood!

I had some tasks coming up, and while I own a decent battery screw/drill, I was going to be drilling some brick.
I bought the Skil batty drill/screw/hammer tool, looking to avoid employing extension cords and my hammer drill.
The rough textured brick was tough, but I hammer-drilled three anchor holes, and mounted a new outside light.

The PWR CORE kit had everything I needed for both jobs, except drywall screws and the included plastic anchors.
The newly charged battery did it all without lagging, and the motor had plenty of power.
