Plates constantly fall out

I would like it very much except that the top plate falls out around 80% of the time. The top clip holding the top plate is inadequate to hold it up during the entire cooking process. I'd like a replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from influenster and dash in exchange for my honest review. I really like the product it has multiple plates/designs to choose from. My kids enjoy making their own waffles and pancakes without having to use the stove.

Just received my mini maker with removable plates and super excited to use it this holiday season. Unfortunately the top plate doesn’t snap into place. Hoping that they will replace it quickly!
