The top latch broke first time using it while changing the plate and won’t hold the griddle in place now
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enjoyed making waffles with the grandkids. The only drawback is it takes time to make enough waffles for a larger group due to the fact that you can only make one at a time and it has to reheat in between each waffle. Thinking of buying more specialty holiday waffle plates for other occasions. Like that it came with a storage container for the additional waffle plates. Wish the storage container had a spot for the actual mini waffle maker to make transport and storage easier.
