Would be 5 star if it were easier to clean. It's not extremely hard though. The plates need to be in soapy water and let to sit. Using a baby bottle brush or a silicone water bottle brush, remove the remaining debris. The plates can be cleaned with a damp wash cloth. No soap. Outside can be cleaned with a bit of soap and water but only if using a damp wash cloth- not submerged in water. Have a surface underneath for easier cleanup. Once you get the hang of it, having waffles will be an easy fix.
Loved using it once a week for about two months, but the bottom plates stopped snapping in. Tried all recommended troubleshooting ideas, but still won't work.
