[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a small electric waffle maker for awhile, so I was excited to try this one. I have only had the square style waffle maker; now that I've tried the round style, I find it is much easier to get the waffle batter all the way to the edges, kinda my pet peeve when it doesn't get to the corners in a square waffle maker.
Since I am staying away from gluten now, I made Paleo waffles this morning and was very happy with how they turned out.
First, I washed and dried the waffle iron. Then I greased it with grapeseed oil using a silicone brush, and turned the waffle iron to the setting recommended by the recipe. Once the green light came on, I spooned the batter into the waffle iron. The gluten-free batter was very thick, more a solid than liquid; I was concerned if the waffle maker was going to be able to prepare a waffle that I would be able to get out of the iron in one piece. After cooking for about five minutes it came out perfectly! I was delighted with how easily the waffles released from the waffle iron.
I would definitely recommend this waffle iron. It is compact, easy to use, and it sits upright for easy storage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's super easy to use, heats up quickly, and is very efficient. Needless to say, I am very pleased!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this waffle maker straight forward and easy to use. It cooked the waffles even ly through out. Only thing wrong with it is the griddles don't separate from the main housing unit for easier clean up
Te waffle maker heated to cooking temp very fast. It made perfectly crispy Belgian Waffles just like I wanted. Clean-up was easy as nothing stuck to either top or bottom plate.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never made waffles before. It was totally easy! I used bisquick and mixed it up and poured it into hot waffle maker and presto waffles. Just do not fill too full it runs over the side.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the waffle maker in excellent condition, shipped well. Followed the instructions on cleaning and let it get hot for about 15 mins, before first use. There was a slightly "new smell" which went away. After cooling, it stores very nicely. There is a dial on the maker that goes from min. to max, according to directions it makes the waffles from very light to brown and crispy. I started with the maker in the middle and the waffle came out with white edges and slightly brown. There was a slight crispness to the waffle and it was cooked all the way thru, not doughy. I then turned up the dial to max and let the maker warm up to the new setting. This waffle came out just a little more brown, not much different from the first and with just a little more of a crispy taste. If you like a good dark brown, crispy waffle, this is not the maker for you. But, this did turn out a nice lightly browned waffle that was done all the way thru and was very tasty. It did not take too long either for the warm up or to completely cook the waffle. Clean up was easy, just sponge it off. I did use a vegetable spray before putting the batter on the maker, as directed in the instructions. It makes just one waffle at a time, has no overflow rim and is small and stores very easily.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use. Can make waffles soft or a little crunch depending on your preference. Easy to store. Very easy to clean. I use cooking spray before using.
