Hoping for something better

Disappointed. I have adjusted the contrast the color and the brightness. Still the picture and sound are not what I was expecting The sleep timer goes 30. 60. 120. 180. There is not a 90
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your thoughts on the picture quality of Samsung’s Q80D TV. If the image you’re seeing isn’t to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to adjust.
Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).

Too difficult to navigate around ! Just like I said above, just to difficult to find channels

To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your Q80D TV and remote, you can download the Q80D TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the Q8D TV under QLED 4K TVs > D Model Lineup to download the guides you would like.
The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into the TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support.

This is an addition to one that I already have. Great bang for the buck. Great picture,very easy set up and navigation thru every set up.

Good tv

It's a great tv, good sound and picture. Am still learning how to use all the different programming. The thing I am having an issue with is that I cannot find a way to download Chrome so I can use my dishanywhere app. It keeps telling now I need to download either Chrome or Saffari, but no links are given on how to get there and no directions supplied on how to this. Am not exactly a techie, so it would be nice to have something to go by instead of trying to figure it out myself. I have successfully downloaded Chrome on all my computers, but somehow, with this tv, no go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great TV but mounting was an issue.

We have the TV mounted on a wall about 20 feet from out bed. The image is clear and the apps are simple to access. We have the TV hooked to a soundbar, and that has had issues (e.g. the software as delivered needs an update and the bar needed repair. So make sure you have warrantee service. also Samsung installer would not handle the soundbar so we got a third party to mount the TV and soundbar. Don't pay Samsung for it, they did not deliver as expected and would not return the money. But all things considered we are happy with our choice.
