[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got 3 of these water jugs and have to say I am really impressed. It's top quality plastic and so well made. You don't see quality like this anymore. It is easy to carry and pretty easy to use. I love the sand color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has assisted my camping trips by enormous amounts! I have used it to bring water with me for cooking with and as I used it all I would be able to replenish it with boiled water from the rivers. It is a lightweight material, but has withheld long drops and rough terrain. It has not given my drinking water any weird scents or flavors. I highly recommend!

Durable and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There’s lots of uses for a great water container and one is being able to take with us on camping trips. I also use it on the road with a spout connected to the smaller opening for drinking water when working disaster areas, it works great for that especially when you are in an area that has no working water. Also works best at the beach for rinsing off the sand and salt water for the ride home. The Scepter 5 gallon water container is very durable and light weight to transport, it’s made with food grade plastic, but just remember to wash it out with baking soda and water first to remove the taste of plastic from the inside. Overall this is a must have around the house you can never have enough water on hand. The large opening has a vent cap that will unscrew but will not come out makes it so where it can’t fall off and become lost. The smaller opening can accommodate a spout for draining water easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water container is a great thing to have on hand. It comes in handy in the the event of an emergency situation. It also comes in handy for camping. It’s made from thick quality food grade material that is BPA free! It’s a very durable water container that should last for a long time. It has a nice large opening that makes it easy to fill up. Then there is also a smaller opening that you can use to pour from. It has a nice handle that makes it easy to carry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this is really high quality. I have the 5-Gallon size and can’t stress enough how solid the build of this container is. The walls are crazy thick, and first impression is this would not only last my lifetime but also my kids. I mean you could probably just flop a shipping label on this and ship as-is and not have to worry about it being damaged on delivery. I did a simple rinse and filled it up and stuck in in the back of my vehicle where it would get to 100+ degrees F (it’s been over 100 each day here). I then tried the water the next day and did notice a bit of plastic taste. I looked online and this is normal and there were a number of recommendations on how to properly clean these type containers for the first time. I tried the one with filling it ¾ and adding a couple tablespoons of bleach and vinegar and shaking, placing upside down, etc. This showed the seal was solid. I let it sit a while then vigorously did the whole shaking thing again before draining. I then filled about half-way with hose water and did the whole shaking, emptying, refilling this about 3 times and let it air-dry. After a couple days I filled it up and then tried the water the next day and there was no odor and the plastic taste and gone. I plan to use this for campaign and as emergency water. It’ll go into my normal routine maintenance items I do every time change and will be on my checklist to change out the water every time change (so every 6 months).

We just bought a camper and this will come in handy for emergency water times. This container is made of thick plastic and will last us years. I highly recommend this for any and all for any emergency situations!!

The water jug is perfect for emergency preparedness, camping trips, to keep in vehicle and taking to the beach. It holds 5 gallons and is BPA free. This is a high quality BPA free water jug. I like the large opening for easy filling. The container does not leak at the seams nor at the lid. It has an air intake for easy pouring. This was manufactured to last. We highly recommend!!!
