Installed from the ceiling and they are holding Klipsch speakers that weight 16lbs each from them and they haven't dropped at all!

The mounts work perfectly with small speakers (mine weigh 6lbs each). Despite what some other reviewers have said, the drywall anchors work well so long as you drill an appropriate hole. However, I needed to use my own screws to attach the mount to the speakers. The included machine screws only work if your speaker has threaded sleeves like on a computer monitor or TV. My only complaint is shipping took an incredible 2 weeks.

Hanging a couple Polk T15s with no problem. No studs just sheetrock anchors (#10)Update- after a few months of use I can say that these mounts are still SOLID. I love the universal design that is simple yet elegant and well built to boot. Hanging a pair of Polk T15 no problem

Plates were strong, adjustable, and come with a safety cable as a backup, if something should work loose.

Great Mounts for Surrounds Speakers.

I purchased these to mount 4 infinity speakers in my living room for surround sound. The speakers weigh around 8lbs each and these mounts support them with no problem. Installation is pretty straight forward, however I used my own fasteners so I can't comment on those included. The mounts can be adjusted to be aimed in a multitude of directions however I would recommend adjusting them before securing them to the wall. I used one side of the mount to secure directly to the stud so I didn't have to use the other side or mount to drywall. They are very sturdy and look professional and I would definitely buy again.
