They seemed sturdy, but....

I was hoping to use these to mount four Polk Monitor 30 speakers to my walls. Didn't like the idea of drilling into my speakers or fabricating some mounts so I couldn't use them. There isn't as much adjustability with these mounts as the ball end type (which might not be obvious from the pictures). The security cord mounted to the brackets broke with little effort. Not a big deal (as long as you don't drop the speaker when your mounting them HA!). Just makes you wonder why they are on there in the first place.

My speakers were 18 pounds and these brackets are not meant to mount them straight out. they are meant to have them hang from a ceiling. Well built for certain applications

OK mounts, but skip the included drywall anchors.

As some others have reported, I only received two mounts in my order. I contacted Customer Service and I'm being sent a replacement order at no cost.As for the mounts themselves, they seem to be working just fine. I'm not mounting very large speakers, but they seem like they could handle something considerably more substantial than what I'm using. The bar that you adjust in order to rotate the end of the speaker arm has a couple cheap plastic ball-ends on it, and a couple of those have pulled off while I was adjusting them. It's the manufacturer's way of saving a couple pennies on each unit, I suppose. Other than that, they seem to be decent quality. The drywall anchors that come with them, though...these things are garbage. Invariably once I got to the third or fourth mounting screw the anchor would bust loose and start spinning in the wall. I ended up having to use a few plastic toggle anchors I already had in the toolbox to get them mounted securely. When the rest of my mounts arrive, I'll be skipping the included anchors altogether. Your mounting situation might be different than mine; you might have a stud handy whereas I didn't, so your mileage may vary.

I recommend 33lbs Total between both rating! Not a per mount!

I used these to mount Klipsch RP-150m from the bottom so the set up was very top heavy so I also used the key whole screw mount to re-enforce it. It comes with sheet rock anchors for the big plate so you are suppose to use the small plate to your speakers. Do you really want to hold your speaker with 2 shallow screws? the big plate has 4 screw wholes I recommend mounting this to your speakers because you aren't gonna use very deep screws to go into your speakers otherwise you will damage the internals. The other end is a small plate with 2 whole, I would recommend screwing this to a wall with a stud behind it and use 3\ or bigger screws so it's held there good. This recommendation was with the fact that it's a heavy Rudy mount so I'm assuming you would be using these on begged bookshelf speakers. I am also going to argue its rating for 33lbs? I would say total between the both the mounts but not 33lbs a peice! Both my speakers were around 15lbs a piece and I think it was getting close to bending the metal."

Great price, but it barely can hold my 14lb speakers, had to add additional metal brace to support the weight
