Worked great on some pretty big speakers and looks great. The speakers I hung exceede 10 lbs and they mounted very easy. The house will fall and the mounts and speakers will still be standing

You have to make sure you attach these brackets to the exact center of the speaker (try balancing your speaker on a metal rod to find the center of gravity) so no extra stress will be applied. Speakers weighing near the max allowed cannot be tilted very much without putting major stress on the joint. These brackets are not heavy-duty enough to provide a lot of tilt for heavier speakers. I would recommend mounting the bracket off-center if you need to tilt it a lot, but then you have to kind-of guess where the best point would be to get the least stressful tilt.
