Very Heavy Piece! 30 lbs!
on March 3, 2018

The product is SO VERY heavy! I can't understand why since my monitor and keyboard weight maybe 3-4lbs. I liked the instruction photos to put it together; however, an explanation what to do next would have been helpful. The main thing I didn't like was that the board attached to the keyboard where you can put things like pens phone and a drink doesn't sit on my desk which caused the keyboard try to be higher than I needed. At the end of the day I had a lot of wrist pain. Also that piece can't be adjusted so when I tried to move the monitor that keyboard tray moved with it.

Great! Especially good deal for the price.

This is a great sit-stand desk! I spent a long time looking at reviews for different options before ordering this one. Someone in my office tried a much more expensive sit-stand desk and did not like it, so I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, being that it is much cheaper. However, it has been exactly what I needed! For the price, it is very sturdy and I love having the flexibility to move it out of my way when I want to work on my desk surface or have a conversation, or I can easily move it up and down when I want to change between sitting or standing. The cord management in particular has been great in that regard, because cords are clipped out of the way. Also the monitor mount works really well with my approx. 36\ monitor. It was a lot of work to put it together

Made it work on a hutch! Nice!!
on December 18, 2017

After trying multiple options I finally have a stand option for my HUTCH! Yep - nothing else worked but with a little \engineering\" this worked out well. See the pics of how I put this on a hutch. The max heigh of my hutch is 23\" and the depth of the hutch is 24\". What I did was place a block of wood on the bottom of the tower/pole to raise it enough to \"clamp\" the top to the wood at the very top of the hutch while the bottom was still low enough to connect to wood going across the bottom (heavier wood not the thin stuff that panels the back). I had a piece of thin metal that I drilled a holes in and screwed into the wood on the top and bottom which \"firmly\" holds the pole. And there is just engouh room between the pole and the thin panel to rotate. This thing is super sturdy - it hardly moves at all when typing. It does protrude from the hutch a good bit as expted. I do believe it is much more sturdy than the desk mount as the top and bottom are firmly connected. The keyboard is 8-9\" from the edge of the hutch which is a bit odd but no problems as I still can easily reach the hutch top for anything needed and the old desk keyboard tray rolls out nicely right below the mount giving more handy space for stickies

Solid first impressions

Mount-It! seems to make quality, solid products, including this desk. It is exactly what I was looking for and as good as I hoped. The one downside, which I expected, is that the desk shakes a bit in use--it can be seen in the product video and others have mentioned this. It hasn't bothered me so far and is no problem with typing or mousing, and I don't think it would be possible to be any better than it is with this design. My desk is not the most solid, and it works just fine.It is massive, and every bit as big as expected from the dimensions. That said, I'm using this on a 24\ x 48\" desk

Feels weightless when adjusting. This works really smoothly, really well.

This works really smoothly, really well. There's a lever you press on the right to unlock and to move up/down. Flawless and smooth and feels weightless when adjusting although it's quite heavy. Everyone we show it to and who has it go up and down says, \WOW!\"It also swings out the way smoothly on the post. There is a chrome metal ring that sets that height--you set to a place where

This stand works as advertised. We have purchased two for our employees. Was not too difficult to assemble. works well either sitting or standing. One has a 32\ TV mounted to it. The only trouble we had was the VESA mount was not the right size for the TV and needed an adapter

Not perfect, but a good deal to be sure.

For the price, this is fantastic. The biggest shortfall I see is that the keyboard tray is NOT independently adjustable from the monitor in terms of depth. You can move the monitor up & down from the keyboard tray, but the depth (i.e. how far in front of your face the monitor is) is not adjustable. I'm thinking of some fairly simple modifications I could make to the tray with a drill and some bolts to extend 4-6\ more inches
