Perfect for my Home Office

I have a standing desk that I bought from another company and needed to find a mount for my monitor, which is a TV, that I could not just stand, but also sit if I wanted while maintaining good ergonomics. This mount is perfect for that. The mount was easy to setup and holds the TV perfectly. I can now stand at my standing desk with ease and if I choose to sit down, I can pull the mount down and my TV remains at eye level.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product works exactly as advertised. My friends and family were really impressed with the professional look to my new setup as well. I knew mounting above my fireplace was not ideal, but in my house, it really was imperative! This is a great solution for reducing neck strain looking up, and even my wife loves it!!! I did have some difficulties in trying to figure out EXACTLY where to mount it as the directions were not the easiest to decipher for fitting my mount/tv into a tight cavity I built into above my mantle. I’m sure with a little practice, I would nail it in the future, but how many am I gonna do? Lol! The construction and quality of the product is obvious, and I have no doubt it will work for many years to come. Already thinking about how I can help others to do the same thing as they strain to watch their tv’s as well!

Bought this for an addition to our den for the grandkids to watch TV.
Assembly was no problem at all, but when I tried to adjust the spring action to the lowest weight possible, it took every thing I had to get it to budge.
When I did get it all the way down I had to ease it back up because there was so much tension it would of sprung back way too hard.
I contacted Mount-It and described my problem and the sent me a replacement part (FF) .
I installed the new part, and it works like a champ.
Thank You Tammy, from customer care for getting the new part to me within 4 days of the call.

Mediocre Height Adjustable Pull-Down Fireplace TV

This was way too hard to put together. Multiple holes were too small for the intended bolts, and other pieces didn't line up nicely. It works ok when assembled, but it harder to move than expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My son has a loft bed in his bedroom which requires a high TV mount but also plays video games while sitting on his futon which requires a lower or typical height TV mount.
The Height Adjustable Pull-Down Fireplace TV Mount was the perfect solution for this problem!
