Good Mount, Great customer service

The mount is pretty good and built solidly. It holds the TV and bar speaker really well and has good routing for wires so they stay mostly out of the way. Tension adjustment for counterbalance works well and holds the TV exactly where you want it.
The three things that they can improve on:
(1) Provide longer drop arms for the bar speaker mount - the one's that come with it were too short for a 60" TV :(.
(2) Improve the handles - they look ugly and it is hard to pull using them. I ended up removing them because they look sooo ugly.
(3) It ends up mounting too close to the ceiling with minimum clearance from the mantel

However, customer service was EXCELLENT and helped to resolve #1 problem above and I learned to live with #2 and #3.

A good mount and good price. Only a couple of hitches. The sction on the up and down piston isn't quite as smooth as more expensive brands and the speaker bar is limited on mounting positions making it diffucult to keep the speaker bar close to the TV.

I have mounted the tv over the fireplace mantel and this mount lowers the tv to a nice watchable height. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Installation tools are included.
Pros: lowers the tv, clears mantel, swivels tilts, adjustable tension. All as described in write up. Easy to lower and raise. Sound bar option puts everything on the mount for a clean install. Something not in the product description, but worth clarifying, don't use this in the lowered position with a fireplace running or mount it over a hot fireplace. The max temp at the front of the fireplace should be no more that 110F.
Cons: minor, the lock down hole was not lined up so I had to drill it out a little so the pin would fit and the sound bar mount is to short for a Vizio V21, I made some brackets to extend the mount.
Overall, great value for the price, I highly recommend it.

We were disappointed by the mount, because the website claims it fits 42-80" TV's. Our customer has a 55", and the mount shows when pushed back to the wall. It's way too big for a 55" TV. I can only imagine how ridiculous it looks with a smaller TV. The people; however, at the company were more than pleasant (confused at times), but they allowed us to return the mount.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
