I really like this stand for a small laptop, I'm using it with an HP Envy 13t. It is very sturdy, and I chose it over some other because I wanted to be sure the front lip did not have enough of a rise as to be in the way since I still type on the laptop keyboard. This fits the bill nicely. It does move a bit through-out my day on a laminate surface, but not enough for me to worry about making the bottom more grippy than it is.

Keeps the laptop much cooler

Excellent stand for my MacBook Pro. Increased airflow keeps the unit cooler and keeps the fan from kicking on so much (or often at all). A great purchase for my needs.

I work a lot on a board in a comfy chair.This riser is non-skid, holds my 15" macbook quite well.It raises the screen to a better height to help prevent laptop hunch.It tilts the front of the macbook and keeps the (dangit apple!) SHARP FRONT EDGE from digging into my hands.It's durable, easily survives being chucked onto the floor.Me like.
