Travelpro is Tops

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I not only had the opportunity to use the Travelpro 29” Platinum Elite Expandable Spinner series but I compared it to a competitors 29” series that I purchased a couple of years ago.
I can honestly say Travelpro left its competition right at the starting gate.
Its lighter weight allows more items in the suitcase. A good thing for those travelers who don’t appreciate those excess weight fees the airlines charge.
No need to unpack all those sundries since the oversized pouch unzips and is easily removable.
The fold out suiter keeps your clothes winkle free. No Kidding. After attaching your clothes, the fold out suiter is inserted into a zippered compartment that has an adjustable strap at one end, snaps in at the other end and is sealed into a zippered compartment that truely minimizes movement.
The interior tie down system keeps all those clothes packed down tight (no shifting) so when you arrive at your destination, your clothes are the same as how you originally packed them.
The built in lock system is flush with the suitcase eliminating those small locks that on occasion get tangled up.
Finally, you don’t pull or push the suitcase, you walk it effortlessly. No veering off to the left or right. The MagnaTrac wheels keeps the direction true.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is perfect for the many long trips that I take from Virginia to California that last several days and involve a number of business meetings. Its size allows me to carry the large number of suits and sports jackets needed. It seems to be able to handle the abuse that cargo handlers throw at it.

This suitcase is huge, it can fit an amazing amount of stuff. You will definitely over pack. I have had a lot of suitcases and this is by far the best. It glides very easy. Handles on three sides make it easy to grab out of a car. Zippers are easy to use. For those times when you are combining business and pleasure, you can pack two suites and dress clothes and have plenty of room left for a week of casual clothes and shoes, which always take up so much room.

Really like this suitcase, very durable. Also when fully loaded rolls very easily which is great. The integrated pouch for liquids is great too. The only downside not the fault of the bag is that it can golf so much you can easily go over the 50lb check in weight limit. For that reason from a usability standpoint I would probably get the 25 inch expandable spinner.

Generally, large luggage tends to be quite heavy. Our bag certainly was. The thing that stands out to me is how easy this luggage is to handle. A child could handle it- if tall enough.
Also, the suiter operated flawlessly- as others have said. Even though we packed six times on our trip- we never had to iron items from the suiter. That matters.
Also, interior pockets are excellent quality and well conceived.
I build high quality things for a living- I highly recommend this luggage. It replaces a Travelpro bag that lasted about 12 yrs.

Bought two Platinum Elite 29" Expandable Spinners to bring overseas on a 4.5 month gig. Bonus point for lightness and double bonus points for the interior organization compartments, closures, etc. It's apparent Travelpro are, well, Travel Pros (see how I did that?) and make bags that just make sense if you're on the road. The bags survived 3 flights and arrived unscathed, so that's an additional triple bonus. Having the lifetime warranty is the icing on the cake because should they become damaged, I can initiate warranty procedures to remedy/repair the situation.
