We purchased this item in August 2019 to retrofit one of our office workstations. Installation was hassle-free and the unit has worked fine ever since. We mostly use it for read and writing memory cards such as used in digital cameras, but do occasionally plug in a standard USB device.

Great reader, only one minor problem. The CF Slot is too shallow. It needs to be deeper so that the card has the ability to align with the slots.

Thanks for your feedback. Since there's no eject button on the reader, it's designed at such a depth that you can easily remove the card as needed.
