Overall, this is a great coffee pot! Easy to use, easy to fill and clean, and I love the coffee gauge. I didn’t give it a 5 because the cord was too short. You have to open the top to fill the water up and add coffee, but its tall so I cant open it without pulling it out from underneath the cabinets- have to unplug due to the short cord... also have reset the time, auto etc. I got an extension cord but that was annoying.

You absolutely HAVE TO put the coffee brewing basket in the right way, otherwise the coffee will spill out everywhere while brewing, even if you do not hold down the lever that controls the coffee flow into the cup. I like not having to mess with a carafe because I have broken too many while washing them. The inside of it ( where the brewed coffee is stored) is not easy to clean, however, ( too many inaccessible corners) and requires me to run it through with vinegar quite often. My other coffeemaker exactly like this started malfunctioning after a year. I hope this one lasts longer.

Great coffee pot. No carafe! Plus everything comes apart for easy cleaning. This pot was in a rental unit during travels last year. We both commented how nice it was to not have a nasty carafe. Plus the dial visually let's you know how much coffee is left in your pot. A keeper!

We had a competitor’s, similar product for a number of years. We decided we wanted something with a bit more “quality”. We already had a Cuisinart Coffee Mill and have been very pleased with it. This far superior to our other product. That being said, we’ve only had it for a little over a month but, so far, it’s been excellent. One thing that is a minor detail but noticeably for the competitor’s product is a small slight that shines into your cup. It was very annoying if, when using a dark colored coffee mug, you could not see the level of coffee in the mug. The product brews the coffee wonderfully and the dispensing system is perfect. I’d recommend this product to anyone.

Great coffee maker. I purchased this to replace a similar type coffee maker (with no carafe) that continually leaked. This coffee make cost almost twice as much but it turns out to be 10 times as good! Its quiet, it looks good, it doesn't leak or continually need cleaning from clogged filters .It brews quickly and the coffee tastes great. Cuisinart is a brand you can trust and I believe this coffee maker will last many years.
