Love the coffee in spite of super short power cord

I love my Cuisinart coffee machine. This is my second one in this model. The first lasted about 10 years. This one has a few flaws, but they don't affect the great coffee I get. The first is the length of the power cord. Six inches is hardly enough to reach a plug directly in the wall behind the pot. The other is the stream comes out very weak and crooked. Putting a cup directly under the spout is no guarantee it will hit the cup the first time. This is why I'm only giving it a four star rating. It's great coffee I'm after, and it's great coffee I get.

I previous had this same coffee maker and I loved it. So after 6 years, when it was time for a new one, I wouldn't consider any other coffee maker.

I have used this exact pot for the last 10 years. This is the 2nd one I have bought. I love there is no carafe to deal with and I program it to go on in the morning so it's ready the minute I get out of bed. Cuisinart is so great to stand behind its products that I would not think about getting a different coffee maker. It is definitely 5 stars

It's easy to use, but doesn't keep the coffee terribly hot. The best cup is in the first few minutes. I do like having a reservoir vs. a carafe--nothing to break or lift out to get a cup. The light over the cup is a bon us.
