Replaced defective unit under warranty. 2 weeks with the new unit the clean light came on. Ran the clean cycle twice and the clean light came back on the next day.
Love the on demand feature but this product is plagued with defects.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had several Coffee on Demand every since they first came out. This is the only coffeemaker that I will by. Hopefully they will never discontinue it.

Weak Coffee

I have been trying to brew strong coffee. I have bought dark coffee, used fine ground coffee, used two scoops and finally used the 1-4 button. I come close to rich coffee by using two scoops of dark coffee. This is going to be an expensive endeavor.

This my third coffee maker of this model. They have gotten progressively cheaper, with lighter materials not to mention a much increased price. It seems to perform OK but it’s too early to tell how long this one might last.

I love this pot. It is easy to use. I love the features. There is a full/empty gauge. It is the best. No more opening the top to see how much coffee there is. The clear side showing the water is so great too. Really the best pot I've ever owned!!!

We've had this coffee maker for over 8 years. It developed the dreaded bottom leak so I took it apart, replaced the red tube (there is a good YouTube video on how to do this) and.... no luck. It wasn't the silicon tube; the actual metal that the water runs in to the heating element had developed a split and the water leak was from that split. BUT - this unit doesn't owe us anything, it has been great for the past 8 years! I am ordering another one because it has been the best!

Not a very well planned out machine. If you have anything bigger than a standard coffee cup, it won't fit under the pour spout. I have to pull the machine to the edge of the counter to use my travel mug. The filter basket has a handle to pull it from the tank and when you go to empty the coffee grounds, the filter gets stuck on the handle and coffee grounds get everywhere. The water tank is about the only thing good on this machine as you don't have to pour water into it, just take it to the sink and fill it. The coffee tank itself, needs to be removed and rinsed out otherwise, you will have stale coffee sitting in it until the next pot. Not impressed at all, so much that we returned it

Had to return it, functions didnt work properly 😡 This is my fourth one over many years and I never had a problem before.
