Super fast photo transfers!

I've never used a Lexar M.2 before. It was super easy to install. It holds 2TB of data, which as a photographer is nice! The speed at which it transfers photos is accurate too at 7mb per second. Super fast! I had to put the M.2 under my GPU as it was the only other spot it could go, but it doesn't give off a whole lot of heat regardless, which is super nice. For such a small device, it's a very powerful tool to have in a computer if you need space. I am very happy with this SSD.

Expected Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD performs as expected, hitting near-advertised speeds in both a USB enclosure and when installed directly on the motherboard. The only drawback was a temporary speed dip during a 1 TB file transfer, likely due to the drive reaching about 62°C. Since such large transfers are rare, it’s not a major concern. I can’t speak to longevity yet, but overall it’s a solid, reliable drive so far.

Top Benefit of the Lexar NW780
