[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This SSD uses the older Innogrit IG5236 controller, paired with QLC NAND flash from Intel. This hardware combo looks a bit like there was some surplus inventory left and Lexar snapped up both at a good price, building the NQ780 from it. As host interface, PCI-Express 4.0 is used. Considering that this is a cost-optimized SSD, it's not unexpected that there is no DRAM cache available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded my laptop with the Lexar NQ780 SSD, and the difference is unbelievable! ⚡ Boot time went from almost a minute to just a few seconds, and everything feels so much faster — games load instantly, and large work files open without delay. The installation was super easy, and my system recognized it right away. I’ve tried a few SSDs before, but this one really stands out for its speed and stability.
I also love that it comes with the Lexar DiskMaster tool — it’s convenient for checking drive health and doing firmware updates. The performance for the price is amazing. If you’re looking to give your PC or laptop a serious speed boost, this SSD is worth every dollar!

Extra storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NQ 780 is highly rated. I primarily used it for storage but I know it’s also good for gaming. It helps keep the computer fast and cool. It is for internal storage nothing you can use as outside storage. I don’t know much about installing so I had to ask my neighbor to help.
