I use a mat on the carpet in ouor home office. It cracks after a few years

I weigh about 130lbs and use it several times a day from 1/2 to I hr each time. Mat gives a bit but the indentations come up usually before the next times I use it.

Difficult to unroll and get to lay flat, but that's really the nature of this type of thing.
