Great for reading in bed. The goose necks are adjustable, of course. However, the height of the lamp is not. The red light must be 3 to 6 inches from your body to be effective. That is impossible with my bed height. The inability to adjust the height of the lamp is a big disappointment to me as I bought it for the red light feature. I guess that's my fault for not examing the specs more closely.

We needed a reading lamp but when I saw that this also had the red light therapy it is a win, win!!
