Amazing but frustrating

I’ve had it 2-3 weeks. I love it. Upgrade from Fenix 7. The metrics are excellent. The flashlight is bright but only good for close-up, not distance. I like that it talks during my runs giving me lap times. Can listen to music without earbuds as well. Have not yet needed the InReach SOS feature which is mainly why I upgraded. I probably will never figure out how to use everything it can do. Pretty amazing.
Programming is very frustrating. I think I have something set (red at night turned off; hourly chime turned off at night, etc) only find out I did it wrong. Went on a run with the flashlight strobing and I don’t know why. I set a countdown timer for workouts and the next day it’s set to a different time.

Good for outdoors, limited healthcare applications

Great watch. Unparalleled outdoor tools. Running metrics good for distance but fall short for sprinters.
Main drawback is weak health applications compared with Apple. Garmin records ECG strips, but routine Apple options like arrhythmia alerts and afib history are not offered by Garmin.

Navigating through its a process

I bought this watch for health conditioning tracking. I’m debating about returning it. I’ve been wanting a Garmin watch for years. Now that I got one there’s something about it that It just doesn’t feel right. If I decide to keep this watch and I weight the pros vs its cons I’ll update my review.

Worth the money

I’m very impressed with how durable this watch is. I use it for hunting, working out, and tracking my daily activities. The flashlight is surprisingly amazing for being such a small diode. Completely worth the money spent especially since I upgraded from an Apple Watch that barely got a day out of the battery and the fenix 8 Pro will get me 10 days minimum with how much I use it.

I bought this about a month ago and love it! There’s a lot to learn about it as it does so much more than my Apple Watch. It is very accurate for all the distances in all the activities I do. All the features that come stock are very well designed. The fact that I can go 17 days without charging is mind blowing to me. I absolutely love this watch!!!

Great precision

I bougth this watch to ran the brazil marathon, the battery life time have changed a lot, a little bit more ticker but worth it, the precision is amazing, response is really quick with garmin coach
