Thinking of returning. Don't the the auto feature that raises the temp to 78 when set to 72. Don't like it running all the time. Don't like noise level of machine

We needed a quick replacement unit for our house and I choose this not just for the features that it has but for the LG name. I had other products by LG and I was satisfied everytime.

Works well, cools, and Quiet

Very happy with it. It was relatively easy to install. My son installed it. We live on the second floor. It's very quiet running, and love the remote control. I am pleased with the cooling it provides, I require it for my health. we live in Southern Ca, and it gets hot here. I consider it a good all-around value.

Should not have torn up box b4 trying..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this AC and find it made no difference, dining room still hot.. unfortunately I tore of the box before trying it because LG typically has a good reputation, so I am unable to return it..

Disappointing and ugly

I decided it was time to replace my 5-year-old air conditioner. I had to have it on 64 to get any cooling. I could not believe how ugly it was after it was installed. LG gives you gave us black cheap sponge tape for a white air conditioner. Secondly I have to put this on 64 and use my ceiling fan to feel cool in my small bedroom. It's not particularly quiet. The clean filter light comes on constantly. My last air conditioner had larger air vents than this and I could adjust the airflow direction up or down. I went with LG because Consumer Reports rated them so highly but this one really is a real disappointment

Bought this ac unit back in April. It’s stylish and was easy to assemble. Placed it in my window just yesterday. Haven’t had the weather quite yet to run it for its efficiency. I did turn it on, was a little disappointed. I know there will be sound coming from it but I didn’t think it was as smooth as I expected. I’ll try resetting it in the window….

We also have an LG stove and refrigerator. We are very satisfied with the quality of the products and with their superior finish, they add sparkle to our modern kitchen.
