Sticking with what works and FITS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this style lock to replace and existing Schlage to minimize any alterations to the door for installation. We have used Schlage locks like this for many years and found them to be durable and reliable. Swapping out the locks took no time.

Not as user friendly as I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the pointy tabs on the back out of the outside part to be odd, and problematic when installing on a metal door. Also, the inability to re-key the lock was something a bit old-school. Finally, the requirement to remove the inner cover to replace the 9V battery odd.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
