Schlage keypad deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keypad entry is soo easy and convenient to use! Not all the time, do my husband and I carry our keys on us, just remember the number code and DONE! 😁. This lock has made our life alil more simple. My husband used to misplace the key a lot,😠 Now, with my new “Schlage Keypad Deadbolt” We no longer require a key to get in😊

Tricky Key Entry Function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation completed by following step by step instructions very carefully. Programming was simple. What is wired is the key function. The key has to be rotated 1/4 turn then pushed in to get the deadbolt to operate. Then do the opposite to removed the key. No instructions were provided on using the key. Too a while to get it to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Physical key unlock instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My installation was straightforward and only required a screwdriver. The problem arose as there were no instructions as to how to unlock the door with the physical key. After many tries, I figured out you have to turn the key 1/4 turn to the right, then push in fairly hard on the key, then turn the key in the desired direction to lock or unlock.

Worked good but bad assembly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The back of the numeric deadbolt was bent so that the brass face piece wouldn’t touch the door all the way around. The design was simple enough to disassemble and reflatten the back plate from where the assembler had installed the electric motor perpendicular to the right position. After I got it fixed it went in good, programming went smooth and it’s working flawlessly

Great combination deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for over a year and waited until I needed to replace the battery to post a review. Quality materials, easy to install, and easy to replace the battery. The product gives a flashing red light after you enter the code for a few weeks before the battery actually dies. The brass finish on the inside has tarnished a bit around the edge, but other than that, this is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Easy Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this lock to replace a broke Titan deadbolt. The hole wasn't big enough, so we wound up calling a locksmith. With a professional in the house, the install was even faster. We were also happy to know that this is one of the better locks out there.

Good, but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality, well made, easy to install, easy to use. Be very careful when changing the 9 volt battery. The part that connects to the battery is difficult to remove. I accidentally pulled the wires out of the connector while trying to do this.. This was well over a year since I purchased it so I was forced to replace the whole thing. This is actually the remove of the second one I just installed.

Simple Swap
