Impressive little machine!

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this little machine. When it arrived, it just felt really lightweight and I felt like it could go either way: either the excellent reviews were accurate, or this seemingly cheaply made gadget was going to be a bust. Thank goodness the reviews were true and this little guy not only made delicious waffles, but the often raved about chaffle as well! Unfortunately I have a blood tested wheat allergy, so I made my waffles with cassava flour, and they turned out light, fluffy, and delicious. I prefer egg white and mozzarella chaffles (no eggy flavor), which turned out flawlessly as well. It took me a little bit to figure out how much batter to put in, which turned out to be about 2 tbsp. Once I got that down, all went well! The unit got hot enough to perfect both types of waffles in a matter of minutes. I like the heart shape because I am in the process of losing the last 20 of 100 lb, and it gives me that little extra measure of portion control. Seriously though, what a great little machine!
