Not a bad fryer other than there's no "oil trap" at the bottom to drain the used oil into and reuse for future frying. Most of the competitors fryers have this and they're way easier to clean/get the oil out of as a result. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to do.
This deep fryer is great. It's a good size, and holds its temperature. Clean up is also really easy. I had been using a pan to fry stuff, and this is so much easier and cleaner. I highly recommend it for all of your deep frying needs.
Like the Cuisinart air fryer/toaster/oven, it is wise to watch your ‘cook’ for the first few attempts. The recipes in both manuals cite temperature and cook time recommendations that need to be adjusted as it is easy to burn/overcook your meal. I love this deep fryer because it has a lid, eliminating messy splattering. Oh, and the first model delivered had minor damage and after a phone call, it was quickly replaced!
