It works well. Spray before using. I use Krusteaz Light and Crispy Belgium Waffle Mix. It works really well. The reason I didn't give 5 stars...the little blue sensor button fell out and now it doesn't want to stay in. It's not the easiest to clean, but waffle makers aren't, no matter what.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We received the mini waffle maker as a Christmas present and immediately started using it. The grandkids were delighted to eat the waffles and scrambled eggs (yes, eggs cook great in it). Things cook in a jiffy! Great little product!

So far I love it! It was a Christmas gift, and I've made several batches so far. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and doesn't take up much space. My daughter loves all the shapes!
