Won’t clip back in after 1st use

I was given the mini waffle maker with changeable plates. I loved being able to make little Dino waffles and I’d love to continue. However I can no longer use the make because the plates no longer lock back in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Non stick ! Makes the perfect waffles and pancakes and eggs each time with no issues! Very good for a fast breakfast when the kids are screaming they are hungry !
