Be careful not to overload it or it will ooze liquids all over your countertop. It should come with a mini mat to place the mini waffle maker on to minimize the mess on the countertops.

Love this little waffle maker. Only problem is the indicator light cover has come off 2 of them & cannot be reinserted.
