Works well but first time purchase item was defected

I had to return my initial one because the metal was cracked. I got a new one but still see the cracking on one of the ridges ...I am not sure if this is defected again or unsafe for my family. There is definitely a product QA issue as this happened twice to me. Please double check your device if you buy. Hopefully HQ will address this issue to my review. Works well otherwise.

Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop

We rented a house and they had one of these. Decided to try it out. We all loved it. We made waffles every morning for the rest of our vacation. Waffle makers seem to be so variable and this is our 3rd waffle maker and it is by far the most consistent. When the light turns on, if you like them a little doughy, grab it.. another min or so and it is perfectly crispy. Ordered ours on the drive home from vacation. 10/10 would recommend.
