Great lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the lock system. Had an older version that lasted 8 years. Broke the battery cable so decided to buy a new one. Love the ability to know when the door is locked and unlocked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lock and installed it in about 15 min; very good instructions and easy to install! Lock works great and allows me to control and monitor access to my condo from anywhere, great product!

It’s a good lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock came with our new home. It’s a decent lock. The app has some glitches and will randomly not work and I’ll have to remove my lock and reset it. This can be a hassle because it takes multiple tries trying to get it to sync. The batteries last. Their customer service is pretty amazing though. I’d like to upgrade to a smart lock that works with our security system.

Great battery life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this about a month ago to replace another brand of Smart deadbolt (I was fed up with the problems that one had and didn’t want another of the same brand). There is no comparison. I was changing out the battery every week or so, it was going off-line frequently, and I was unable to lock the door from my phone after several months of use. Although it is only a month in, so far, I’ve had none of these issues. Also, although my old Smart deadbolt was only a year old, the lock jammed regularly. No problems with this Schlage Smart lock!

Overall Good Smart Lock But Not Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like the Schlage Encode smart lock. use this lock on my Airbnb property, I was able to easily install the lock myself which is a plus! Setting a new code for each guest is simple, and I can set each code to only be active during their reservation time. And it is great knowing what the status of the lock is at all times and being able to lock and unlock the door remotely helps me to know that my property is secured! However, there are periods of time when I cannot add or remove a lock code and I have to try multiple times before it will work. And once I had to do a hard reset and go through the entire set up process again to get the lock working properly again. And I'm not the only person who has this problem, other Airbnb hosts have complained about these issues as well. If these code issues were fixed this would definitely be a 5 star product, but as is this is definitely a solid 4!

Great smart lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a house with the smart lock already installed. It's great being able to check the status of my lock thru the app and lock it on there if I need to. Also having the lock work with Alexa is a bonus.
