[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally had an Encode on my vacation rental but then it died without warning, despite having new batteries and my guest got locked out. Quickly replaced it and they sent me a new one. I now have the replacement on my house. Works well, we shall see if it does the same as the original.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Version 2 Solves Condensation Problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The original version was prone to failure because of condensation from the battery compartment dripping onto the electronics below. The new version has a barrier between to prevent condensation entering the electronic compartment

Love this Deadbolt!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this deadbolt can have multiple admin users as well as guest codes for when company comes over. We have family visit and gave them each their own codes so they could come and go as they pleased. I only wish the unit would be usb-c rechargeable instead of AA battery powered. Besides that I am thoroughly satisfied.
