Pleasant improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great improvement over the schlage sense smart deadbolt. Still use batteries rather quickly. WiFi is much more consistent without the WiFi bridge.

The setup process was simple, and it connected to Wi-Fi without any issues. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this Schlage Encode Smart WiFi Deadbolt for a while now, and overall I’m very impressed. The installation was simple, the build quality feels premium, and it looks fantastic on my front door. The satin nickel finish gives it a modern, high-end appearance that really upgraded the look of my home.
The smart features are what really stand out. I love being able to lock and unlock my door remotely, receive notifications, and have the lock detect activity. The app is intuitive, and the lock has been reliable and responsive whenever I use it.
The only downside I’ve experienced is the battery life. The batteries seem to drain faster than I expected, especially with the Wi-Fi and sensing features enabled. It’s not a deal breaker, but I do wish the batteries lasted longer.
Overall, this is an excellent smart lock that combines great looks, security, and convenience. If Schlage can improve the battery life, it would easily be a perfect 5-star product. I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a quality smart lock.
