Easy setup and operation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the Encode to match the new Schlage door handle set that I also bought. Installation was pretty straightforward. The set includes a heavy duty strike plate with long screws that definitely make my door more secure. Programming with the Schlage app was easy, and connecting that to Alexa wasn't bad either. Loaded with features like automatic locking.

Good lock for rentals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock works well for rental properties where you can set a guest’s code from offsite and have multiple codes active at once. I have two of the locks and One flaw I’ve found is I have had to reset them multiple times which you have to be in person to do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the lock last year and have changed doors with it 2xs. So I did have to factory reset it but it didn’t take long.
My favorite feature is how every lock code you put in you name so in the history and when a notification is sent to your phone it’s says the door is unlocked and what name unlocked it. You also can control opening and closing your lock from your phone. I love the option of automatic lock where it locks after a certain amount of minutes automatically.
