[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design makes for easy battery changes. The encryption is simple to do. installation took about 20 to 25 minutes total with very good instructions.. response is very quick both using the phone or using the unit itself. If the unit was going to be hit with rain or snow no worries there it’s very very well-made and looks like in a very expensive unit one mounted on the door.

WiFi frequency defect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The limit of only connecting to one WiFi router frequency is very stupid design. 2.4 and 5.0 ghz routers have been standard technology for ten years. Get with the times Schlage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best coded lock that we have ever purchased. It was easy to install and setup was a breeze! No issues at all! We live in a saltwater environment and both of my neighbors purchased the same brand after seeing ours.

Try to keep from direct sun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have several of these. I love the easy installation. I love the accessibility through the app and ease of use. However, we’ve had to replace two of them from drawing moisture. Although under a covered roof, they catch the sun (one in morning, one in evening) on hot humid days, they condense and we’ve had to replace two from this issue.
However, we like them so we replace with the same model.

Great features and easy to install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have tried numerical door entry systems previously that did not work. This Schlage deadbolt was easy to install and works amazingly. I have codes setup for my kids. The great compatibility with my door and not to mention it has wifi capabilities. I have a good sense of security with Schlage encode deadbolt door lock.
