Great features and security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was easy, connecting it to Wi-Fi was easy. Easiest to not have to open up the garage door and just go out the back door and know when the kids come home when it is locked and unlocked. Great for a family.

Worth buying if you need remote access.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been mostly very happy with our Schlage Encode deadbolt locks. They are easy to install and provide good security. I haven’t found anything on the market that performs better. I have had some issues with them after a few years. So I am disappointed that such an expensive lock should need replacing so soon. In my mind I should not need to replace an expensive lock for at least 10 years. Also, it would be really nice if they could somehow be able to be recharged without having to physically change batteries, the same way the ring cameras can be wired or solar powered or use batteries. But this is a small complaint give the convenience of being able to manage the lock remotely and save multiple codes with different schedules. Overall this is a kick that is worth buying and installing if you need security and the ability to manage it remotely, and don’t want to have to carry a key. The key backup is SUPER IMPORTANT to have.
A word of advice. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE STICKER WITH THE ADMIN CODE!!! if you ever have to reset the lock, you will need the information or the lock is useless.

Great convenience and security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had this lock installed and I am very satisfied with the results so far. It allows me to grant access to service people when I am not present in the house. The codes are easily programmed from my cell phone. It added an extra layer of security to our house along with the convenience of letting people in only at the times we want them in.
