Great solution Smartlock

They always function seamlessly and allow us to make access by guests or visitors or ourselves safe with set times codes no matter where we are. Great locks that use technology to make home ownership and property management easier!

Perfect for our short term rental

I can set entry codes from my phone app and make them valid for specific dates and times, which is perfect for our busy short term rental. Highly recommend.

Hit or miss

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product about a year and a half ago and when it works it is great! When it doesn’t work then you will be locked out of your home if you don’t have a key. So you’ll have to carry an extra key with you all the time…which defeats the purpose of this deadbolt. It will slow down and won’t unlock so you’ll have to factory reset and lose all the codes you’ve entered. If I didn’t already invest this much money into it I would have gotten something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Schlage lock. True peace of mind when we leave to be able to log into an app and and get updates when our door locks and unlocks. Not having to take a key with us when we leave to walk the dog or go for a run is super convenient.

It was simple to install and even easier to set up the app. Everyone has their own code so we know who is entering and when. The app allows us not only to see a detailed history of use but also to see the status of the lock and to lock or unlock the door remotely.
