A fancy Disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I’ve moved into this brand and newly built home I am now coming up on my second issue with this lock. The first time I was shipped a new one when it stopped working and this go around brand new lithium batteries will NOT work and it keeps reading that they have zero charge and I’m back to using the lock regularly with a key. One evening I was actually locked out of my front door because the lock wouldn’t budge. I was so excited to have a keypad lock that I could control from my ring app. Thus far it has been a fancy disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great WiFi deadbolt lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I decided that we needed to purchase a new lock after ours stopped working. We went back and forth about a smart lock or traditional lock. And decided on a smart lock since we have a sitter over now and then. And figured it would be more convenient if could unlock the door if we were not home. We decided on Schlage since they are one of the biggest names in the industry and are known for great security locks. The lock looks great and the installation was a breeze at for me it was . Had a little issue with the WiFi connection but figured it out. Apple home does not seem to want to work with it so I downloaded the Schlage home app and it works great. Lock works flawless and I feel the price was worth the added effort of security.
