Awesome quality and security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacing a manual locking deadbolt, this unit fit in the old lock location perfectly. Was very easy to enter new unlock codes and connect to my WiFI, the app is very easy to use. The lock is heavy and well built, locking bolt looks very strong. It has programs you can setup times for it to automatically lock, like bedtime. Keypad lights up very well in dark. Buttons are large enough for fat fingers and have a tone to identify positive depressed of buttons. I plan to install on my other remaining outside entry doors

Eats batteries & difficult to apply user changes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lock works well, but runs through AA batteries quickly. When internet is down, it remembers its previous settings (good) but there is no way to add or remove a code or modify a user’s permissions or expiration date. Another mark against this lock system (perhaps this applies more to the app) is that you cannot simply create a user, set their passcode/expr, then add the user to that “Home”. You must (re)configure that new or existing user on a lock by lock basis. For a “Home” with 6 locks, this is time consuming, and duplicating efforts which leads to human errors. If I need to activate a user or change their passcode or expression date, I should be able to do it one time in one place, then apply my updates for that to the Home, not have to do it on each lock every time. This should also apply in situations where you have multiple “Homes” set up. When family are in town, I have to go through this process 48 times across two Homes, 6 locks per home, which is 12 times per person for a family of 4. That really sucks. Solid lock otherwise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great upgrade from old mechanical lock.

Schlage has always been recommended for security reasons and love how easy it was to change to a smart lock. Had to try several times to get WiFi to connect but finally got it working. Love how easy the app is to navigate and the interface allows for easy addition of more lock sets.

Great lock w/ smart features & AirBnB integration

#1 door lock system

I get many compliments about it ease of use and looks at my front and back doors. The app is my favorite as it gives me on time notifications whenever someone enters my home or exit. My front and back doors share one app and make it easy to follow. Nice features to use on the app as well.
