Lock is exceptional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install, had it rekeyed when purchased to original lock, works with Alexa and is perfect to add a number of access points for different individuals. Even the people using the lock agree. Would highly recommend this product

We got our first schlage smart lock when our boys were in middle school in 2011. They are now grown and focused on their careers. Schlage was and has been a safe and reliable product for our home. We just updated to a new Schlage Encode with wifi. It gives us peace of mind since it provides added security and is compatible with Ring and Google (Alexa). The installation was so easy and pairing with my smart home app and wifi took less than 5 minutes.

Lock is great, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the deadbolt lock to the point that I have purchased another one for another exterior entry for my home. I love that I have manage the locks remotely. I can be in another state and still manage the locks. However, recently, the main feature of the app had been frustrating to use because the app wouldn't let me assign new codes, which is pivotal to facilitate my guests. The app would stay that it couldn't connect when I knew it was within range and could connect (because in the act of manually locking and unlocking the deadbolt, I'd receive notifications on the app that the events were happening) but it would error out saying that it couldn't connect. So I had to reset the lock, delete the app from my phone and install everything again. I total pain! The app is the main reason for having the lock. If that doesn't work, the reason to have the lock is worthless.
