[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is nice to be able to let people have access into my house, and not worry that a copy of a key might be made. I am on a trip, and I can program it to let them in, or check to see that the doors are locked at night. It gives me peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was formerly using the August lock and what drew me to Schlage Encode was the heavier duty components. August used plastic connectors to attach to the deadbolt latch and they would wear out, making it impossible to lock or unlock the door. Schlage has been so much easier to use since I’ve installed it. I also appreciate the battery monitoring on the app so I know when to change it before a rental.
The only downside I experienced is with one of my doors, the interior cover is cockeyed and there was no way to install it so that it was parallel.
I would recommend this to a friend!
