Schlage Encode outperforms!

Upon purchasing my new home, I purchased six Encode Smart WiFi deadbolts with separate two-point handles for all exterior doors. My locksmith endorsed my choice of lock and easily rekeyed all as a backup to the keypad and easy to use app in unlocking and locking my doors. Highly recommend this for any homeowner, whether you’re looking to upgrade your home or purchasing a new home.

Encode Camelot deadbolt is fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had one of these units in my front door and I liked it so much I bought and installed one in the back door. They work well and the app that controls them is really good and useful. The Camelot encode deadbolt matches our other lock and completes our esthetic. Installation is easy and Schlage security is top notch. We like the interface on the keypad which is touch sensitive and not buttons that wear off or sometimes have other issues. Happy with my purchase.

Great features for younger kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great locks, easy to install, no connection issues at all which most locks will have. One thing I love is that it will notify you when a door is opened or locked. Having young kids in the house definitely makes you more aware/control.

Circuit board/wiring issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very easy to install and certainly user friendly even for dyi or beginners. It has a good appearance, wifi compatibility, app dashboard is user friendly. Installation was simple specially with detailed step by step instructions.
This also provides ample security specially with the notification status via app. I connected ours through Alexa and utilized the features of spoken lock/unlock commands.
My issue however is that after a few years, the keypad stopped functioning. Replaced the battery a few times and still not working. This likely is a circuit board issue or at the least wiring connectivity issue.
For this reason, I’m rating this a 3/5 as I now have to consider buying a new unit.
