Good lock, not so safe with small children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second encode product. the first was the deadbolt which was agreat product. The second is this door handle and its also a good product, easy to install, connect to the app, looks nice and is all around convenient except the inside handle doesnt lock. I know this doesnt sound like a big problem but if you have a toddler you probably know why it is. My 2 y/o figured out she could just let herself outside at any time which for a kid that gets up in the middle of the night alot this is a bit scary. Schlage told me they made the handle like that for safety reasons but its just not that safe if you have small children.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great lock, but trepidatios

Only giving it a 4 so far as after a year of great operation from a similar encode product installed a year ago. That lock just recently started going through batteries at a rate of 4 a day, obviously has some internal short. It was great before that..

A Product You Can Depend On

The hardest part was just getting the unit connected with the app and setting up others with the ability to use the app as well. I like the professional look the lock has. I also like knowing when the door is being locked and unlocked it gives me a sense of feeling secure. The compatibility for the unit was good. So overall I would definitely recommend this product to other people.
