My two kids got me the VORNADO 80 for Father’s Day. This fan blows hard and it’s the Best. I will only buy VORNADO fans from here on out!! Thank you VORNADO for making a fan that blows the rest out of the water!!

I purchased this fan to replace an older 18” electric box fan on my boat. I’ve used it during the summer of 2025 and it exceeded my expectations. The low setting is strong enough for cool air throughout the evening and also kept bugs away!

Could not use because the electronic switch. I was using in an area only accessible via a ladder so I plug in to turn on and off. With the switch that is on this you have to press it to turn it on. Then you have to hit the speed control to adjust the speed. When unplugged it will not start again until you hit the switch. Plus it always started on high when you turned it on and you had to adjust it down if you wanted it quite.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I think vornado products aren't what they used to be

My husband bought this fan in May maybe? In October is started making this squeezing sequel noise. When it shuts off you can hear it even worse like it is going to give out. I just left a review for a little heater that died after one season of light use so time will tell if this thing will crap out or start a fire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Whats not to love? Simple box fan that does its job. Not too loud and doesn't feel cheap. Easy to move around to different areas. I have many fans from Vornado and all are great. They are my go to for fans.

My apartment can get quite warm. I don't want to run A/C because of the electric costs, and A/C upsets my sinuses. The five speed fan is working great to help cool the apartment. It seems to be very, very well built and engineered. I have it running now. As of now, I am very satisfied. I already have circular Vernado fans which have worked very well, and I expected that with this square fan.
